FAQ: Troubleshooting for iOS, Android and Kindle Fire

Howdy Farmers,

Depending on which Mobile Device you are using, many issues (i.e. Loading, crashing, Missing Features, Sync-ing of Game) can be resolved in the following ways:

  • Make sure that your device is connected through Wifi, 3G, 4G or LTE. 
  • Always switch your device off and on again after you have performed the necessary troubleshooting steps for your device; Apple, Android or Kindle.
  • If you play through a WiFi connection, make sure your router is on. Additionally, try not to play too far away from it, as you may lose the WiFi signal.  
  • On troubleshooting your game, it is not recommended to uninstall your game as reinstallation will automatically generate you a new Player ID or a new game on your device.
  • For your game to be saved correctly, make sure that you are always connected to Facebook, Google+, orGame Center. The game only allows one farm per Facebook, Google+, or Game Center account. Sharing this will cause for your farm to mess up and might cause for the other player to make changes to your farm.


 Apple device
  1.  Update Game and make sure you have the latest version of your app by checking your iTunes Store.
  2.  Force close all your apps if you have many of them open at the same time.
  3.  Restart your App by force-closing

Force close:
  • Restart and Force-close your app by double tapping the "Home" button on your iOS device.
  • The Multi-tasking bar should appear on the bottom of the screen.
  • Hold down the game app in the multi-tasking bar until the app starts to shake.
  • When the game app starts to shake, tap the "-" in the top left hand corner to force close the app.
  • Go back to your iOS Springboard and reload your app

  Android Device:
  1. Update Game and make sure you have the latest version of your app by checking your Google Play Store.
  2. Force close all your apps if you have many of them open at the same time.
  3. Restart your App by force closing:
  • Go to "Settings"
  • Select "Applications"
  • Tap on "Manage Application
  • Choose the appropriate app to "Force-Stop"
  • Go back into game app
